All Mosinee School District Staff:
The President of the United States recently declared the following:
‘NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOSEPH R. BIDEN JR., President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim May 4, 2021, as National Teacher Appreciation Day and May 2 through May 8, 2021, as National Teacher Appreciation Week. I call upon all Americans to recognize the hard work and dedication of our Nation’s teachers and to observe this day and this week by supporting teachers through appropriate activities, events, and programs.’
Special Thank You to all Teachers this week during the proclaimed National Teacher Appreciation Week and National Teacher Appreciation Day on May 4th by the President of the United States. I have been and continue to be a teacher although in a different role now and remain happily married to an amazing teacher. I know first hand from my own experiences and my wife’s continued efforts that teaching fills your life before, during, and after school unlike any other job. Thank You all Mosinee School District Teachers for your continued commitment especially during this once in a lifetime pandemic school year.
Happy Teacher Appreciation Week and Day on Tuesday to all teachers! I will be around to all buildings on Tuesday with refreshments that I’ll place in staff lounges if all goes well before 9 am as a small thank you to all educators. I also think that it’s a great start to the week to have a professional development day without students as a way to help springboard us into the last 23 days of the 20/21 school year!
Respectfully,
David Muñoz
Superintendent
