Attached is a picture from New York City taken September 10, 2001 a day before 9/11. This is a striking image because all American lives changed on 9/11/01 in one way or another similar to now with a global pandemic. It was hard to consider at the time when some students were watching the TV asking if everything was alright and if some of their parents in New York that day were going to be OK. Those were hard days with tough conversations a little like what is happening in 2020. We endured and came out of 9/11 and we’ll do the same with a global pandemic. Reach out and thank a first responder today and or a member of the armed forces for their service.
