Welcome Back Mosinee School District Families on Tuesday September 1st! We’re eager to engage students and get back into a daily routine. The Mosinee School Board continues to be supportive of providing options for all students and families.
We have carefully and in consultation with the health department developed a comprehensive system for how we will be managing COVID-19. Many people will be involved in collecting and evaluating the data and then making recommendations when necessary. We expect COVID-19 cases, in fact a few have already occurred on property since the March closure, and we are prepared with isolation areas and internal contact tracing to assist the health department. We also will continue to communicate this information to the appropriate people when COVID-19 incidents are identified.
We understand the stress COVID-19 is creating in our lives including but not limited to with school reopening. It is important that we continue to support one another, stay positive, and know that we are all in this together.
Mosinee School District encourages all of its staff, students, and families to take precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Those include:
• Wearing a cloth face mask
• Practice social distancing by staying 6 feet apart
• Limiting the number of close contacts you have with extended family and friends
• Washing hands frequently or using hand sanitizer
These precautions will help keep you healthy and increase our ability to keep our schools open.
