Mosinee School District Families:
WiFi on Wheels will be starting Tuesday. This is Free WiFi for families in three remote locations: Bergen Town Hall, Knowlton Town Hall, and St. John The Baptist Church in Peplin. Free WiFi is always available in the same way driving up to the back of the high school door 7 if needed 24/7 by logging into MSD-guest. A school Bus will be parked in each of these locations according to the schedule in the attachment. Simply drive up to the bus, stay in your vehicle, and you/your student will be able to login and access a strong WiFi signal as needed. We will monitor usage and make changes as needed. We will be up and running Tuesday and available morning, afternoon, and evening with Free Food also available for pickup from Noon until 1 PM at each of the bus sites. (We will still have food pick up and delivery from the high school but the food in remote bus locations is an expanded food pick up option for those living farther away from the buildings)
Wednesday and Thursday morning we will have Chromebook pickup for 1st-5th grade families in need according to the schedule and information in the attachment.
We acknowledge that this is a difficult situation for all involved but we are committed to providing services as much as we are able remotely until the end of this global pandemic.
Please reach out to me or any staff member for assistance and we will do our best to solve challenges as we are able.
Respectfully,
David Muñoz
Superintendent
Mosinee School District
