Mosinee School District Families,
All Mosinee School District staff collectively hope for the very best health for all students and families during this COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) Global Pandemic. We eagerly anticipate a return but understand the need for an abundance of caution at this time. We are all committed to doing our best serving students and the community remotely as best as we are able.
Governor Evers extended the school closure in his Safer At Home order through Friday April 24th with the understanding that this could also change. I will keep you informed. We wanted to provide an update before March 30th on our remote/virtual learning efforts with students given that we will be extending longer with this than planned.
We acknowledge that this is a different way to function for students and families. Our goal is to connect you and your children to our school community while continuing to deliver a high quality educational experience. It is our hope that this continued connection to school and teachers will help to bring a sense of normalcy, less isolation, and more engagement for students in extended learning and growth opportunities. We will continue with free meal pickup for any student every day behind the high school Door #7 starting on Monday March 30th from 11:00 am to Noon. As always, if delivery is needed, please email hharman@mosineeschools.org and we’ll make sure to deliver the meal.
I’ve attached three documents for you to take a look at when you have a moment:
- Remote Virtual Learning Plan for the week of March 30th
- Grades 1-5 Chromebook Pick Up Option on April 1st and April 2nd
- WiFi on Wheels locations with food around the district starting Tuesday March 31st
