School District security cameras caught an unknown adult non-student acting suspiciously attempting to enter Mosinee High School on Thursday January 23, 2020. This person did not gain access to the building due to the secure doors and security protocols in place. At the request of local law enforcement, Mosinee School District Staff secured the perimeter of all buildings not allowing students in or out without specific supervision. Law Enforcement made contact with this adult non-student a short-time after who attempted to enter Mosinee High School and determined through field interviews that he wasn’t a danger to himself or others. There is no danger to the community per law enforcement. Thank you for your understanding of the abundance of caution used in this situation. We are thankful for our great relationship with local law enforcement including their quick response to this incident.
Respectfully,
David Muñoz
